Anti-human cytokeratin (clone 80)
"Binding of Clone 80 monoclonal antibodies to human cytokeratin"
Hybridoma Clone Antibody Isotype Cat. No.
Clone 80 Mouse IgG1 ARA19
Source A mouse was immunized with callus cytokeratins isolated from fresh human skin tissue.
Antibody producing cells were isolated - after fusing the spleen cells of this mouse with
murine myeloma cells by selecting the cells that produced antibody capable of staining
human epithelia in thin sections.
Specification:
The antibody does stain all types of keratin containing (that is epithelial) cells in frozen
sections of various tissues, with the exception of myo-epithelial cells and the podocytes of
the glomeruli.
