Anti-human melanoma (clone PAL-M1)
"Binding of PAL-M1 monoclonal antibodies to human melanoma"
Hybridoma Clone Antibody Isotype Cat. No.
PAL-M1 Mouse IgG1 ARA35
Source A mouse was immunized with tissue derived from human melanoma metastases.
After fusing the spleen cells from this mouse with myeloma cells, antibody-producing cells were
screened on thin sections of various human tissues. Clone PAL-M1 was identified that produced
antibodies staining malignant melanomas.
Specification:
Antibody PAL-M1 stains the majority of primary melanomas and the large majority of metastases
and is directed against the transferrin receptor (CD71). Local staining of dysplastic nevocellular
nevi may be observed. Common nevocellular nevi rarely stain.
